As a resident of Avondale, I strongly object to the boarding house being constructed at this location for the following reasons:
    1. It will be directly opposite an exisiting high density, large government housing development. These types of developments should be distributed throughout the region and not clustered in one area. Avondale is already adversely impacted by the antisocial behaviour of residents who are not considerate or respectful of their neighbours eg, breaking into cars, walking the streets under the influence of drugs and alcohol, riding motorbikes dangerously and continuously up and down the road and disposing of large amounts of household rubbish on the footpath.
    2. Parking would need to be seriously considered to accommodate parking for 17 residents and their visitors. Avondale is not a major public transport route. Iit is a 3km walk to Dapto and there is only one bus per hour.
    4. Wollongong Council has an obligation to all it's residents, and the adverse impact this development will have on the value of surrounding houses should be seriously considered.
Thankyou for your serious consideration of my objections.
