    I feel that this multi dwelling house goes completely against what this new estate is all about.
    Will square edged gutters cars cannot be park on both sodes of the street, when there is there is no way a car can get through.
    There is already several dual occupancy dwellings that have been approved and built on both Neeson Roads and Saddleback Crescent with limited parking spaces behind the fence line.
    To approve dwellings if this size will be visually unappealing, dangerous for children due to the width of the roads and due to the fact that is directly across the road from a children's playground

    This development is beyond the original vision and plan for the Kembla Grange Estate.
    The streets. Roadways and parking will already be pushed to the limits with the dual occupancy dwellings already in the area.
    The Proposed monolith is opposite a park, ruining views and creating a potential danger for kids and dogs and the general public with all the extra traffic created by having 6 units, directly across the narrow street. I re-iterate the point that these roadways were designed with a certain amount of traffic which will now be overloaded.
    Allowing a subdivision of this degree would cause so many issues that the original planning was not catered for.

    I thought this estate was for growing families. The fact that there are already dual occupancies on both streets. The roads will not be able to handle the traffic and the park isn't very big enough either. Also for the people who have built, they will lose the northern sun quiet early..

    How are emergency crews going to fit down this street? There's no way off getting an ambulance down here. This is ridiculous. Residents don't want it.

    There are already far too many duplex’s approved in stage 1, which also has some of the narrowest streets in the Illawarra. To top that off, the gutters aren’t rolled so parking will be impossible and traffic congestion for a supposedly young growing family community will be dangerous. This should not be allowed. One or 2 here and there is acceptable, but this is just out right careless and dangerous.

    In our very very narrow street Saddleback Crescent there are already six duplexes (more are on the plans) which the street cannot support because of lack of parking . Already the garbage truck has been having huge problems emptying bins as they cannot get up the Crescent with people parking on each side so they have been sitting on their horns waiting for people to move their cars .This development is only going to worsen this situation. I have never seen an estate so over developed and has the potential to become a major problem.I think Wollongong City Council is letting down the families of this estate by approving so many multi dwelling on 15 meter frontage.On this estate it should be one block of land one dwelling as the infrastructure cannot support more.

    This is totally against the original idea of this estate. As a result of the over development which has already been approved, the narrow streets are already struggling with residents and even the garbage truck having issues safely navigating through. These multi dwelling buildings are not whatbthe estate was designed for and this particular application is so far beyond what this estate can handle that allowing it would be disasterous. This is a family friendly estate which simply won’t be able to support growing family’s needs or lifestyle ideals of developments like this are allowed to be developed.

    We strongly OPPOSE the said development for numerous reasons, including but not limited to:

    1. There will be numerous windows looking over adjoining properties, which is a significant privacy issue;
    2. There will be a significant amount of shadowing on adjoining properties: limiting the amount of sunlight exposure and decreasing the amount of natural light;
    3. The proposed 6-unit development is contrary to the residential vibe of the estate. This multi dwelling development of 6 units over 2 blocks is not residential in nature. The sheer bulk and scale of the development is well outside the scope of the surrounding property developments;
    4. Despite this estate being a new development in which planning could have been made to avoid the issue: the road widths are narrower than usual and already causing congestion of vehicles (and the estate is not yet even up and running). To have 6 families living within 2 blocks will increase traffic congestion in the small estate even further, particularly if each house were to have more than one vehicle;
    5. The road system of the estate will be insufficient to cater for a development of the size proposed;
    6. We were under the understanding from estate developers that multi dwellings with a high density such as the proposed development, were not permitted in the estate;
    7. In the event of a natural disaster or emergency (i.e., house fire), the increased number of dwellings and vehicles will detrimentally affect, and congest emergency exits from the area.
    8. Sites within the estate accommodate for a maximum of 2 dwellings per block – not THREE. By having 3 units on each site is over development;
    9. The proposed 6-unit development is positioned directly across from a park and children’s playground. To have significantly more vehicles entering in and out of the properties, due to 4 extra dwellings being across the 2 blocks (given the 6 properties within two blocks), increases the risk of children and/or pedestrian, interaction and/or accidents;
    10. The proposed 6-unit development is positioned at the end of the street. The entering and exiting of significantly more vehicles from the property due to the 6 dwellings being erected across 2 blocks, increases the likelihood of congestion at the end of the street for people trying to enter/exit either Neeson Road or Saddleback Crescent.

    We believe that only residential properties should be erected within Kembla Grange estate. We will be objecting to this multi-dwelling development proposal.

    I feel that this would set a dangerous presidence for the rest of the development. We were aware that there would be a few duplex designs on the estate when we bought, but that number has drastically spiralled out of control with nearly every other application or build being for a duplex. So if one application for a 6 property development is approved, what is there to stop numerous more popping up in the same and later stages.

    It ruins the original idea for the estate and is hugely disappointing for those who have bought to build a home, not an investment. It's too congested and in such a small space. We'll end up with a densely populated area which will not be enjoyable for anyone to live on.

    It's very distressing to see the estate go in this greedy direction.
