I believe this development is too big. This does not reflect what is currently in the area. I object very strongly to these huge multistory buildings moving out of the area of the Parramatta CBD foot print.
North Parramatta has a lot of heritage buildings and is adjacent to the famous Cumberland hospital precinct with all its heritage buildings and values.
This is much higher than surrounding buildings and will have significant impact on the amenity light and aspects for the neighbouring properties and suburb.

I wish to object to the ratio of parking spaces to unit numbers. There should be more parking spaces to allow for multi car owners residing in the units, plus spaces for visitors

Plus the property is far too high! But that is a factor that is ignored by non-local planning authorities

THIS DEVELOPMENT IS OUT OF SCALE TO TO THE SURROUNDING AREA
THE CBD IS THE AREA FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MASSIVE BUILDINGS SUCH AS THIS
PLEASE DENY PERMISSION FOR THIS APPLICATION

I also reflect the commentary made by other residents in the area; the unit footprint is large, tall and will cast long shadows into the neighboring streets. I would support a smaller tower, as the city grows.

I also object to the planned "less cars" policy of the council and this project. to have 125 apartments ( with at least 1-2 people in each) - and only 83 car spots - how will this reduce the impact on the surrounding areas - the streets are already FULL each night with residents cars, imagine another ~50-100 cars in the surrounding streets - it just wont work.

the towers need adequate parking ( as the reality is most people have cars) to cover this increase in residents. this is in spite of the light rail and "green" plans.. the reality is Syd public transport is woefully under funded and will never get people to all their destinations easily, so people need a combination of their own and public transport to move around.. to think people will abandon cars is just a pipe dream and the council need to get their heads read if they think this is the future..

3 wheelchair accessible car parks for this building is NOT acceptable

We wish to object to the proposal, although unfortunately any feedback to date on previous developments appears to have no impact on decision making when money is generated for stakeholders even at the expense of a lowered standard of living for those in the area. The development is far too high in relation to comparative buildings in the immediate area. Neighbouring properties behind only 3 stories, will be overshadowed. The parking already saturated in Parramatta (and ever worse on the days the new stadium has events) is extremely insufficient for the prospective number of residents. We already have people parking in visitors (who aren't associated to the building or parking over driveways for lack of places. The traffic, outside of 2-3 hours a day means locals sit in heavy congestion and so many new excessive high rise concentrates the problem. Every few months in the years of traveling to and living in the area, there is a marked difference in traffic, parking and services due insufficient infrastructure to handle the quick growth. With high density there have been serious and long term noise issues that is also a cause of concern when allowing so many high density buildings in a small space with insufficient police and council attention to manage associated issues.

I support this application as It’s great to see Parramatta becoming a City we need more investors willing to develop and enhance our city into a modern metropolis

I fully support this application. Parramatta is Sydney's next CBD. Light rail construction means that many more residents and visitors will be required in order to utilise the benefits.
Hopefully, more businesses will be attracted to the area, creating more jobs. High rise development along Church Street is to be encouraged. As Parramattas population grows, more and more housing will be required. With easy access to Parramattas CBD , the construction of residential apartments will bring prosperity and commerce to the district.

Construction of apartments along a corridor between two heritage conservation areas (Sorell Street and North Parramatta) requires an integrated plan to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for current open space, heritage and infrastructure. The light rail will not solve transport issues. In fact a direct result will be the loss of Fennell Street car park as well as forcing traffic to the side streets for access and parking. Changes to height restrictions will cause an overshadowing and visual detraction from heritage items as exampled by Currawong House and Endrim, not to mention the 18 other mentioned homes in the conservation area. The precedent set by this development, if approved, will then set standards for further developments. Please consider a management plan that takes in all aspects (not just developers) and seek true community consultation.

I also fully support this application. Parramatta needs more business, more living capacity and a business-friendly environment. Church street is perfect as the centre pillar for North Parramatta planning.

I support this application. This is what North Parramatta needs. Parramatta CBD needs to expand to the pennant hills road. The potential of this city is limited by the small thinking and selfish people.
