1. The best part of Hughesdale is that it remains one of the last truly residential suburbs. While other suburbs have succumbed to multi storey dwellings and sub divisions, just look at what Carnegie and Murrumbeena have become. Hughesdale has always been a single dwelling suburb and it is much better for it. It would be an absolute shame to see that unique aspect be a thing of the past. Keep the suburb's unique qualities in tact please. We have too many concrete jungles that just ruin the streetscape and bring down the essence of what a suburb is.
