1. I have seen a number of applications to remove trees recently.
   Why doesn't Council have a policy to automatically allow people who want to remove trees to do so, but on the basis that they have to plant at least 2 more trees elsewhere on their site. The policy should stipulate a minimum size of planting & should have a Council annual check/follow up for say the next 2 years.
   No one loves trees more than me but sometimes a tree is the wrong type/size, is in the wrong spot for optimal enjoyment of your block of land etc & let's allow their removal with the result of a net gain in the number of trees in Bondi not a net reduction.

2. Removal/pruning of FRUIT TREES does not require consent under Council requirements.
