Please do not approve this application, it is because:

    1. The application is set too close to the apartment next to it, It will block all the nature light of its neighbor building (west franklin apartment - north tower).
    2. And as it is too close, when construction begins, the noise will be at a unacceptable level to the resident of west franklin apartment - north tower.

    Reject the development proposed.

    1) Lack of privacy - windows of student room facing directly to the private opening space/living/bedroom of the Residential buildings.
    2) There may be noise transmission to the Residential Apartments at the South side as the distance are too close, less than 8.75m.
    3) No consideration of overshadowing for Residential Apartments and Townhouses around.
    4) Will the student accommodation be long term or short term? Zhengtang (Greaton), the developer) has history in changing the type of use after developement is done. Will it still be considered as Residential & Retail as agreed in the signed LMA or Commercial

    4) It is considered as Stage 3 development of West Franklin, but no consultation with the owners of Stage 1 for the change of concept plan in the signed LMA.
    5) In case for evacuation, will there be enough space for fire truck, ambulance, residential, students and etc. at the narrow Elizabeth Street

    Very disappointed that

the Council accepted the developer's design for building 53-meter height (31m in Land Management Agreement (LMA)) 300 student accommodation without considering the residents living in the North Tower of West Franklin and nearby. The LMA seems useless. Will people consider living in the CBD as Agreement(s) can be changed any time by Council or Developer?

Council did not consider the overheight affecting the overshadowing and the privacy for existing residents in North Tower of West Franklin Stage 1 in 2019. Seems Council only considers potential income from the high density development and the look?
