  1. Unhappy Rates Payer commented

Does this include the stormwater drain at the other end of Orana Street ?
The one that cost a ratepayer $3000 to get a report on.
A report that showed all applications online had the drain on the south side of the street not the north side as it is now and which also showed the pipe was the wrong size, smaller than on the application.
It wasn’t until 4 weeks after the Ipswich City Council had been forwarded the report were they told, “Oh it has been approved just not updated online yet.”
It took 8 weeks and three people before they were told that.
If this is true the $3000 should be refunded.
If this is true the developers should to be held accountable for dumping an open stormwater drain at the back of one ratepayers property, dropping the value of their land, while making profit on the 25 lots they are developing from one block.
A stormwater drain to add to the stormwater drain 2 doors away, one which the council are aware already has issues.
A stormwater drain that runs from the developed land over the road, then runs down and back over to the same side it came from.
    Who is responsible for this?
    Disgusting behaviour Ipswich City Council.
