    I don't feel that demolition of a small worker's cottage in an area on the edge of a conservation zone should be allowed. Despite the commercial properties across the road, this is far too big for the row in which the house sits. It will totally overshadow the neighbours.
    There are so many apartments being built already by a council who claimed to be about limiting large development but have let every development go above the height limits in their own DCP but who are incredibly picky about any tiny renovation residents wish to make. No doubt this will be another developer looking for a quick profit at the expense of neighbours.
