    They must be joking!
20 units on a single block of land.
Council has got to block this

Both Quinns Rd and St Georges Ave have become an absolute nightmare to the few remaining residents surrounded by these disgracefully inappropriate developments for small local streets. Unfortunately and unfairly it has become a snowball effect in these two streets in particular, with resident upon resident eventually forced out due to the choking environment around them, and selling up to developers - the only ones that can afford it! This joke of an application needs immediate scrapping by council.

As a resident of a free standing house in the adjoining streets, my family and I believe this development would be highly inappropriate given the nightmare situation with parking and traffic flow we currently are experiencing, let alone with the addition of a further 20 residences?!? Our own family and friends are unable to park within 5 minutes walk of our house AS IS when visiting. It can take up to 15 minutes to move 10 metres within our own street, and with talks of Moorabbin Hospital reopening their Emergency Department, the parking and congestion is only set to increase. Families who want to retain the suburban feel of these streets, are being built up around on all sides! Apartments on the corner of E/Boundary and Centre Rd, town houses JUST finished on St Georges with another 12 approved for number 1 and 9 St Georges Ave for completion in 2019/early 2020....when will the “feel” and traffic/pedestrian safety for the current residents become a priority for council???

A 20 lot sub division on 649 sq mt - how many sq mts is each lot? This is absolutely ludicrous. A totally inappropriate development that continues to destroy the character & charm of neighbourhood while putting additional stress on the infrastructure.
When do the concerns & sentiments of the residents & ratepayers over ride the mammon worshipping developers?
This development needs to be squashed!

This is an appropriate development for the zoning of the land. Come on, if you're living on this street and have a single home you have probably survived the down turn and sitting on a pretty penny because your land is valuable. You could probably sell up and move to the neighbourhood zone properties around the Patterson Road precinct or even the further out in Bentleigh East. These complaints should have come once the land there was re-zoned for such developments. Apartments mean that our kids don't have to move to the other side of the world to buy homes to live, they can stay within the area close to their families. Mental health stays strong as they have support from loved ones. Congratulations to the council for having this vision.
