No reduction in car parking should occur. Parking is ALREADY a major problem in the inner suburbs as residents can testify. Indeed, having parking restrictions sometimes seems nothing but a farce as the first thing that a developer asks for is that they not be applied.

It also seems an over-development of a relatively small site. Maximising developer profits at the expense of future liveability is not a good idea. What 'green' areas are going to be incorporated into the development, or is it just again a case of limited public open space being used by ever larger numbers of people (try having a Christmas picnic in the Edinburgh gardens). At the very least, there should be a rooftop garden!

I feel that this is over-development of a small site. Car parking space should not be waived in small suburbs such as ours where space is at a premium. The liveability of this suburb is/will be curtailed if developers are permitted to over-develop these sites; short term gain ( for them ) but long term pain ( for us, the residents ).
    Thank you.
