1. Unley Council please do not allow Walford to remove street trees, especially the Regulated Sugar Gum. It is unconscionable when applications such as this are made for alterations and additions that street trees are targeted for removal....they are 'street trees' to enhance the streetscape for the benefit of the community and surrounding environment. The commitment of the Mayor and all who support his aim to enhance and grow our tree cover must be upheld. This application only serves to undermine and destroy the benefits that trees provide - especially street trees that do not constitute the boundaries of Walford and therefore outside their jurisdiction.
