While if is good to see urban renewal, can the owners leave some room to plant some shade trees - particularly as the front of the block faces west into the hot summer setting sun?
The Peninsula has now lost too many trees for shade and places for birds to hang out resulting in the area being rated as 4 degrees hotter than surrounding areas in summer - urban heat island effect.
