    Dear Councillors,

I own a liquor store only a couple of blocks away from this application.

Woolworths opened up a Dan Murphy's store 18 months ago only a few blocks from this application. The residents and businesses didn't want that store as there was too many liquor stores in the area. The council rejected that application only to be sideswiped by Woolworths paying for a private certifier to change the use of building.

The police at the time also stated that it was not in the best interest of the community of Rosebery to have another liquor store open up, yet Woolworths keep applying with their open cheque book to keep going against the wishes of a vast majority of residents, businesses and government departments.

No more liquor stores are needed in this community. Please vote down this application.

    Kind regards,
    Peter

I believe Rosebery is inundated with liquor stores and the need for another Woolworths owned store is ludicrous.
Dan Murphy's was passed even though the council, community & police said no.
With the money behind Woolworths it seems no one can stop them.
Please stand up for what people want not what these huge companies dictate.
Who runs this country big companies or the people.
It is time to say no more

    Councillors,
It is apparent that local residents do NOT want nor require another liquor outlet in this locality. Our 9 year experience of rejecting DAs, and particularly rejecting 'packaged liquor' outlets and industrial-fast-food-services demonstrates residents UNRESERVEDLY REJECT such proposals from big-business incursions into this our 'city-of-villages'.

We residents shall continue to do so.
