So sad to see another 1920’s building go to make way for more appartments! When is council going to stop this? To many apartments on Neerim road already. Causing traffic congestion, it is becoming to dangerous for children going to the local primary school? And with all the new residents Carnegie primary is getting overcrowded. Very sad and disturbing.

Has the GE council conducted investigations into the amount of extra open space Glen Eira has and will have in the future with per capita population increases with the amount of developments completed and under construction and future approvals in the Carnegie precinct area? It is a congestion nightmare most of the time, especially during the weekends and morning and afternoon peak times. Has a survey been conducted into the amount of traffic in peak times? Will the addition of more apartments and less parking contribute to the overall congestion and deterioration of the surrounding area. The land size is 234.0m2 A massive development on an very small parcel of land.
