I was under the impression that visitor car parking was essential for 5 or more units. No wonder the streets are clogged with parked cars. Seriously.

Knox City Council has been known to approve developments with reduced parking all too frequently. State government minimum parking space requirements are already inadequate and both these issues have directly led to overcrowded and unsafe local roads, not to mention making it impossible in some instances for emergency vehicles to get to where they need to go. On parking alone, this application should be denied.

I also believe this application is also an over-development of the site and out of character for the street and it would be irresponsible of Knox Council to approve this.

I don’t believe any reasonable person could expect 7 houses to be erected on one residential site without even one parking spot for visitors. On that basis alone this Application should not be approved.
