It would be a shame to remove this tree simply because of a few branches dropping occasionally. It provides cultural and heritage value to the area. Also habitat for wildlife.
Perhaps and independent Arborist report should be provided along with this application.
A tree of this maturity is irreplaceable, perhaps pruning a percentage of but the canopy would be an option.
