Can the contractor make an effort to work around the tree in the back yard instead of clear-felling everything?
The Peninsula with Warnervale, is now the hottest area on the Central Coast from the advance of medium-density housing (more rooves, driveways & tin fencing) and the felling of too many trees.
While renewing old houses improves the amenity of the area, keeping trees is shown to be highly desired by prospective buyers/tenants who are willing to pay a premium.
Can Council ensure there in onsite parking for the new granny flat? Most tenants these days have two cars and over time the lane ways become cluttered impeding access for other residents and emergency vehicles.

Where trees are emigre for extensions and pools can the applicant please replace the list shade cover and canopy by adding a large tree to the street verge or front yard?

The Peninsula has been identified as suffering from heat island effect due to the slow but consistent removal of established trees.

Landscaping should put back at least one habitat/ canopy tree.

    Thank you.
