Hi I have just moved to Tenth Avenue which I see the plans to build a school will be across the road from me. I have to say I am not pleased to have a school right across the road from me.

This is disappointing as it is my first home if I knew this was going to be the case I would of not bought on Tenth Avenue.

I am a parishioner of St Anthony's Austral for the past two decades and I am greatly concerned with the proposal to demolish our parish church and rebuild another on the campus of the college. Doing so would not only be a waste of donations and tax dollars, but a real insult to past and present parish members of St Anthony’s Catholic community who through hard earned donations built their bricks and mortar place of worship. This church is quite modern and can be extended to double its present capacity. It has its own carpark and does not inconvenience local residents nor create traffic congestion. The proposal must not be approved.
I do not recall ever hearing of this proposal from the previous Parish Priest Fr. Robert Hayes.[retired RDF VF PP]
