These trees should not be removed. They provide valuable habitat, shade and beautify our environment. We need more trees not less.

I object to the removal of these trees. If they are Melaleuca trees then they are native to Australia and our fauna need them for food and habitat. Trees clean the filthy air we breathe and add beauty to the streetscape. The approvals to remove trees in waverley over the years has been shocking. Our attitude toward the natural environment needs adjusting.

60% of all wild life has been removed world wide in the last 50 years. These trees are vital to the survival of native species. What is the extinction list for this council?

I also object to the removal of these Melaleuca trees. They are important for our wildlife, shade protection and streetscape appeal.Too many trees are being removed from this Municipality and it takes many years to grow more.Surely a compromise can be found so that some are saved from removal.

I strongly object to the removal of these trees.

There are three areas in which i think this would badly impact the community

Environmental - Melaleuca trees are found only in Australia, and as protected natives they provide habitat and food to native animal species in the area. This is really important in an area that has already lost most of it's native vegetation.
The removal of any trees should also be banned due to their role in helping stop climate change

Natural shade - the trees provide natural shade for people using the bus shelter

General amenity of the area - Bondi road is becoming less and less appealing as an area due to the constant removal of trees

In summary, i feel the trees play a vital role in the local environment, while also making the area more appealing for all.

Why should the community and environment in general suffer due to an individual simply not wishing to have these on their property?

    Thanks

I also object the removal of these trees.

On top of the previously mentioned environmental concerns, these trees provide important natural shade to the bus stop underneath.

I also object, we need more trees not less. Please protect our flora and fauna and wildlife

These trees are needed along this busy road to keep our air clean from all the cars, motorbikes and trucks rushing up and down each day.

A school is close by - kids need clean air to learn!

I object strongly to removing these lovely native trees.

I also object to the removal of these trees unless they are being replaced with well progressed new trees. There are absolutely not enough trees in this area, we should be encouraging more vegetation

I have viewed this property on google maps, these trees are the only form of vegetation on the property , without them you are left with concrete . The application does not state the reason for wanting them removed.
The trees are well established mature native trees and soften what appears to be an ugly building , they provide shade food and shelter and a green corridor for wildlife , which is constantly under threat by the indiscriminate removal of trees and rampant overdevelopment.
We need to protect our native trees. This application should be denied.

Removing the trees would creates a harsh impact on what is already a busy and hectic stretch of road. Bondi Rd is not an attractive road, and given it is a main thoroughfare for tourists and the gate to Bondi Beach .... why are we making it ugly. We need to beautify, not make it all cars and concrete.

It is refreshing to have vegetation along Bondi Road - for beauty, for shade, birds, butterflies, bees and for our well being. We must protect NATIVE nature and vegetation that we have left in this suburb.
Our Eastern suburbs streets are a disgrace and are ugly. I strongly object to removing trees unnecessarily. We do not need need more development on Bondi Road. Stop the greed.

This is completely unreasonable to remove three very healthy native trees from one of the must busy streets of the region. Not mention the very weak argument to do so from the applicant.
It is clearly not in the community interest at all.
The trees are facing and making the streetscape of Bondi road, and removing them only for the fact that one person think is reasonable to do without making any compensations to the community and the enviroment would be a massive mistake from council to approve.
I strongly object to the removal.
