    My understanding is that this tree stands at the rear of the property mentioned - please correct me if wrong. Given that it is a native and not obstructive there would need to be very significant, arboreal reasons justifying removal - and if an arborist's opinion supported removal on health or safety grounds then a second opinion should be sought.

    Yes, I agree with the above comment. Very distressing to see that every regulated and significant tree are gradually being removed from this property. A significant cork oak was removed in 2002. A significant Irish Strawberry and 2 regulated trees (a Coral Tree and Moreton Bay fig) were approved for removal on 11/10/18 - I think these are already gone. I think the tuart tree may be the only one left. What reasons were given for approval of the Irish Strawberry, Coral Tree and Moreton Bay fig please?
