I think 43 rooms is excessive. Where will all of the residents park? Yes it is close to public transport, but realistically, at least half of the residents will probably own vehicles.
Also there have been problems nearby with other boarding house residents causing issues for neighbouring residents. How will this be policed?

I co-own 128 Kikdare Rd (corner of Walters and Kildare Rd). 43 rooms is excessive and I oppose the project for the following reasons.

    1. Too close to public school.
    2. Too close to the local VET, this would most likely encourage crime.
    3. Way to close to the Sportsman Hotel, which would definitelt encourage alcohol fueled crime and violence.
    4. There are no other excessive boarding room houses in this area.

I have to agree with alot of against comments on the construction of this property.
This is a very busy intersection and will redoubtabley cause significant problems with traffic and with school children.
All locals and council should stand up and reject this proposal.

There was an approved townhouse complex on Lancaster rd , very close to 1 walters rd, that should never have been approved. It causes significant traffic issues getting traffic across the rail line bridgeway and with 2 t- junctions directly after the townhouse complex, just makes it even harder. Cars get caught across kildare and lancaster now because of parked cars out the front of the townhouses - that bottlenecks 2 lanes into 1.
    Terrible planning!!!

These boarding homes, simply house drugs crime and increase the number of burglaries in this area. I have been broken into twice.
We should be trying to clean up Blacktown and make is a nice place for decent people to live.
There is a concentration of boarding homes in this local area block.
This number is far too excessive. There should be no more than 6 rooms.
Any more should be illegal, and favour the local residents, and not the developers.
