After exposing the residents to the contamination on this site you have the audacity to ask if you can bury what can't be disposed of because it is so toxic? I hope one day that you are all indicted for this appalling excavation, let alone the ongoing exposure to the smoke stacks and vehicle emissions. A pox on you all.

We as a community we're told that all the contaminated material on the old "Dail a dump" site had been removed & safely disposed of. Why is this not the case ? So much for all the wonderful green space being created ... !! What a load of tosh
I object to this proposal - all contaminated material needs to be removed & safely disposed of. No more lies pleas

I absolutely oppose this application. Dispose of this waste properly. Or better still, go bury it in your own backyard.

  4. Joe Levitt commented

Strongly opposed. Get rid of this rubbish. This mess needs to be removed properly by the people that churned it up.

I vehemently oppose this application. Talk about adding insult to injury - the extent of which is too early to tell. Our community has been - and continues to be - subjected to more than enough noise and environmental/airborne pollution from this debacle of a project. Enough!

    I object

The waste should be disposed of safely and correctly no matter what the cost
They took on this site knowing what was involved

I object. This is no adequate resolution to a long known problem. When you take on a project knowing its risks, you can’t cry and force others to assume them for your profit.

  8. Carrie Grimes commented

Is this the best possible solution for the long-term disposal of this waste, or just the cheapest possible solution for the current owners of the site? Sounds like the latter. Please pursue the safest possible option for the protection of everyone now and into the future.

  9. Scott Williams commented

I strongly object. Any contaminated materials should be removed and disposed of appropriately. The local community should not be placed at risk any more than they have been from this infrastructure project.
