We are the owners of 118 Darebin rd Northcote and would like to ensure that the tree protection zone of our 70yo English oak tree is not infringed upon during their proposed development. Our neighbours are insisting that we remove this tree. This tree is well established and in good health.

The previously-mentioned English oak tree at 118 Darebin Rd is beautiful and enhances the local environment. Trees of this age are rare and significant in this area. We agree that its protection should be a priority under any planned developments on adjacent properties.

After meeting with one of your staff from strategic planning today, we would like to add that we are concerned that our neighbours may attempt to poison the tree, as they are determined to have it removed, despite our objections. Can you please advise on the steps we should take to prevent this.
