    A building of these dimensions, and removal of vegetation, will totally wreck the current character of the area as well as the Ivanhoe skyline as seen from the Darebin Parklands. I think that Ivanhoe is rapidly losing the character that makes it so sought-after.

    If you are determined to go ahead, then the very least you could do is to give the building and interesting, aesthetic period roof such as one can see on some of the houses along Wynstay Crescent. The last thing we want is hideous landmarks!
