I look forward to this development being completed. The new residents will appreciate having all our CBD has to offer right on their doorstep, as I can attest to, having lived just around the corner from this site for the last 14 years. Belmont is going ahead in leaps and bounds - the future looks bright for our suburb.

All for development in the area provided the "elephant in the room - parking" is addressed.
The streets on the Eastern side of the CBD from Maude to George Streets are already clogged with the overflow of vehicles from the existing multi storey developments in the area, this even includes a caravan.
There are further developments in this area in the pipeline, (Macquarie street, The Sportsmans club site....etc?), so the time to do the planning necessary to avoid disaster is now.
Do a bit of research and you will find most couples these days have more than a single vehicle, if children are present more like three. Unless these developments have more than a single car space per unit it's not hard to calculate the additional vehicles that will require a parking space, "on the street" , and compare that to what is available.....chaos!
Any new development MUST be able to accommodate a minimum of two vehicles per unit built in the development or it should NOT be approved.
