As the owner of Viking Realty which is based at 32 Brooks Parade, Belmont , I am wanting to write that I am delighted to see this DA being presented to our community , not only does this position along Brooks Parade , Edgar , and Sharp streets hold stunning views of the lake , it will cater to those crying out for more restaurants and cafes that we need looking out over the water. The beauty also of the location is that is has public transport at our doorstep, you have major shopping centres within 100 meters and its level. Not only will this development beautify our Belmont area , it will create employment for our youth and help accommodate an ageing population that want to live in a beautiful location over looking the water.

After 22 years working in this community it is very clear Belmont is a residential hub on the grow and is rapidly becoming a diverse community for young families, retirees and investors. There is a huge demand for low maintenance, affordable homes to boutique homes in our area with easy access to community facilities, shopping and transport. The Edgar Street development offers a fantastic opportunity in all facets of the areas growth from housing, new business opportunities and employment. In my opinion this collaborative development is an important step forward in the continued evolution of the Belmont CBD.
